LTC Partners Sponsors New Hampshire Public Television's broadcast of The Vietnam War documentary series
Portsmouth, NH: In a continued commitment to support the military, veterans, and their families, LTC Partners is proud to be an underwriting sponsor of New Hampshire Public Television's (NHPTV) broadcast of The Vietnam War documentary series.
The 10-episode, 18-hour documentary, by filmmakers Ken Burns and Lynn Novick, tells the epic story of one of the most consequential, divisive, and controversial events in American history as it has never before been told on film, according to the film's website. The film aired between September 17 and September 28.
"LTC Partners' support has not only helped NHPTV bring the series to television, they helped support a series of screenings and facilitated dialogues around the state, the collection of stories from New Hampshire residents, a companion website with local resources for veterans, their families and educational services for our entire community," said Bryn Burns, manager of corporate support & community relations for NHPTV. "Thanks to LTC Partners, Granite Staters are beginning to have a long overdue conversation about the war."
As a federal contractor that manages two large federal government contracts—the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program, and BENEFEDS, an electronic marketplace for federal dental and vision coverage—LTC Partners is committed to supporting the men and women of the armed services.
"We are in debt to our veterans and those currently in uniform," said LTC Partners CEO Paul Forte. "The value of their service cannot be overestimated. When we were presented with the opportunity to help underwrite the cost of the broadcast, we knew we had to respond. The creators have presented a thorough and balanced view of a seminal event in our nation’s history. Their efforts have enhanced understanding of our experience."
