LTC Partners Helps the United Way Supply More Than 2,000 Local Schoolchildren with Literacy Development Tools

Portsmouth, NH: Employees at LTC Partners came together for the third year to support the United Way of the Greater Seacoast's K-Ready Kids campaign by collecting more than 1,600 literacy kits to benefit preschoolers across the Seacoast entering kindergarten in the fall. LTC Partners also donated $10,000 to the organization.

In its fifth year, the K-Ready Kids campaign focuses on the fact that children who enter kindergarten ready to succeed are more likely to stay on track, read with skill by third grade, and graduate from high school. More than 2,000 literacy kits were collected this year and delivered to area child care centers, Head Starts, and nonprofits across the Seacoast.

"LTC Partners is proud to partner with the United Way of the Greater Seacoast to create a better start for our children's educational journey," said Brian Frankenfield, executive sponsor of corporate giving for LTC Partners.

LTC Partners once again encouraged employee participation in the K-Ready Kids campaign by promoting a friendly internal competition, resulting in 12 employee teams competing to collect the most kits. Of the 1,600 kits collected, "Team Just Kiddin'" took the top spot, collecting 576 literacy kits. Team "Goodnight, Moon; Hello, Kindergarten" won for most creative team name.
