October 14, 2011

LTCP is pleased to announce the following new hire at Long Term Care Partners.

John has joined the BENEFEDS Training and Service Operations team as a trainer and curriculum developer. John comes to us with a diverse background ranging from mechanical engineering (where he worked on such fascinating projects as environmental controls and life support systems for the Space Shuttle, International Space Station, and even space suits) to life coaching. His training background includes software training and training management.

"I am excited to have John join the team," says Jeff Lane, manager, BENEFEDS Training and Service Operations. "With the emphasis our company places on highly effective, innovative training, I know John's strong training and training management background will help continue to propel us toward our goal of being one of the most forward thinking, learning, and development organizations in the industry."

In his new role, John will be responsible for delivering training and assisting with development of materials for new and existing customer service consultants, research specialists, and others in the BENEFEDS Enrollment and Service departments as well as call center vendor resources. He'll be accountable for the quality, accuracy, and transfer of learning from the classroom to the production environment for all classes taught. Additionally, he'll work with the senior trainer and curriculum developer to identify training needs and trends. When necessary, John will also be responsible for assisting the service team leaders with mentoring the CS staff and participating in improvement/quality-assurance programs.
