Business Analyst

Job Description
Long Term Care Partners is actively seeking an experienced Business Analyst. In this role, the primary responsibilities will be to gather and develop detailed business requirements by working closely with multiple business stakeholders and our Information Technology department. Secondary responsibilities will include user acceptance testing, conducting and reporting on root cause analysis, executing current reports, and participating in the development of enhancements to new and existing reports. Candidate must have a strong working knowledge of the system development life cycle (SDLC).

Job Requirements
Requirements include:
  • 3+ years experience gathering and writing business requirements. Candidates selected for interview will be asked to show clear examples of detailed written business requirements that they created.
  • 2+ years of experience creating and/or executing queries in a database to extract data for reporting and analysis.
  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of SQL, DB2, Excel and MS Access.
  • Strong working knowledge of relational database schemas required.
  • Possess the ability to communicate in a concise and articulate manner in writing and verbally.
  • Be able to build and maintain strong business relationships with business stakeholders and technical resources.

Education Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors degree preferred. Additional certifications or course-work in business / systems analysis preferred.
