About Long Term Care Partners

Long Term Care Partners, LLC (LTCP) is an administrative company serving the employees and retirees of the Federal government. A joint venture between John Hancock Financial Services, Inc. (John Hancock) and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (MetLife), two of the nation's largest insurers, LTCP was formed expressly to service the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP) which was created by an Act of Congress in 2000. Today, LTCP also administers BENEFEDS, a secure website enabling Federal Family members to enroll in and manage their FEDVIP (Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program) coverage, under the oversight of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM).

LTCP employs over 200 people who reside in the tri-state region. It is led by Chief Executive Officer Paul E. Forte, a veteran of the long-term care insurance industry. LTCP is located on Arboretum Drive at Pease International Tradeport in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Formerly Pease Airforce Base, the 3,000 acre site is now home to over 218 companies, employing in excess of 5,200 employees, contributing significantly to the seacoast economy.
