Currently LTCP administers two of the largest group benefit platforms in the United States—the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program, a long term care insurance program offered to eligible Federal family members, and BENEFEDS, a secure website enabling Federal family members to enroll in and manage their Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program coverage. These important employee offerings are supervised by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM). LTCP Administers Successful FLTCIP Open Season!
The Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP) recently concluded its much anticipated Open Season on June 24, 2011. More than 48,000 Federal family members applied for coverage over a 12-week period. BENEFEDS 2011 FEDVIP Open Enrollment
The Federal Benefits Open Season is the annual time period set by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) in which all eligible persons may elect, change, or cancel their coverage in the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP). By Federal regulation, open seasons are held each fall, from the Monday of the second full week in November to the Monday of the second full week in December.
